Material History and Raw Texture
Kyle Myers builds layered physical assemblages combining raw charcoal, street posters, and industrial canvas. Each work investigates the unresolved friction between structured composition and found-object decay.

Rigorous Material Assembly
The work begins on the studio floor, amidst accumulated fragments of industrial salvage and raw pigments. Layers are built, scraped back, and re-assembled until the physical tension of the surface holds.
By integrating found elements with technical precision, the final compositions preserve their material history while commanding space within refined, contemporary architectural environments.
